The Mounted L-shaped Partition Wall With Door Kit allows you to easily install a temporary or permanent room with an included accordion door anywhere in your home or business.

Whether you need an office, study room, guest bedroom, or just some added privacy, you can assemble your new space quickly and mount it to your existing wall with as little as a drill and a screwdriver. 

This kit is perfect if you want your partition wall attached to an existing wall rather than freestanding.

Wall Panels
Your kit includes our signature wall panels that are 3" thick and made of Moisture and Impact Resistant Fiberglass. These panels are easily assembled and snap together using lug and 2-way connectors for a stable and secure fit.

Framed Accordion Door
The included accordion door kit is 36" wide with a maximum opening of 30".
It includes a specialized lintel piece with a track that allows the door to be easily assembled and installed on our modular walls. The door kit includes a double-sided handle, and an integrated magnet to hold the door in position when closed.

Note the door is placed on the width of the wall in the most economical position. If you have a special request for the door placement reach out to us, and we can customize the kit to match your requirements (additional costs may apply)

Wall Mounting Brackets (x2)
The L-Shaped Wall Bracket makes it easy to mount any modular wall kit to existing walls to provide additional structural support. This reduces the cost of the kit, as it weighs less for shipping and requires fewer panels.

Screw the L-Shaped profile to the fixed wall, nest the panel inside the L, and screw the channel to the panel. Detailed instructions on this can be found in the "Assembly" tab above.

Lug and 2-Way Connectors
Included connectors are easily snapped into the panels, creating an ultra-secure connection between panels from all sides. These connectors allow you to connect panels to each other in seconds, making for easy assembly. 

Finishing Caps

Finishing caps are used to close off any exposed connector holes, giving the exterior of your wall a clean, finished look! Your kit includes enough caps to seal off the entire perimeter of your wall.

Before you buy, the most important thing to do is measure your ceiling height. Your ceiling must be at least 2" higher than the height of your partition. For example, if you're looking to buy an 8' partition, your ceiling must be at least 8'2". This allows you to assemble the partition comfortably and place it in your space. Without any clearance, you're at risk of not being able to assemble/install the partition at all, which we don't want!

Do also make sure to check your floor for dips and bulges. Uneven flooring can impact the installation of your product.

Once you've confirmed your ceiling height and ensured your floor is level, you're good to go.

Note that the wall panels are 3" thick, which means that when you connect two walls in an L-shape, 3" will be added to the length of one side of the wall kit. You can decide which side when you connect the walls. 

Door Positioning
By default doors are placed in the most economical position on the "width wall". If you have a preference for door placement, please reach out to us, and we can check if that is possible with your dimensions, or if we can do a custom order for you. 

Note that doors need to have a least 1ft of wall panel on each side. 

Our wall kits are designed to be completely DIY. Two people can typically assemble and install any of our wall kits in 90 minutes or less*, with little to no tools needed. 

Note that a drill and/or screwdriver is recommended for installing the accordion doors and mounting the wall kit to your existing walls.

Orders ship from local warehouses and are typically delivered in 5-15 business days. After you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive tracking info via email.

Our modular wall kits are shipped via freight on a pallet and delivered curbside. You’ll be contacted 1-2 days prior to delivery to schedule a time, and a signature is required.

When the courier arrives, they will lower the pallet to the ground at the curb or driveway, and you’ll be responsible for moving the panels inside and disposing of the packaging and pallet. Accessories may arrive separately as regular parcels.

What is the difference between "Freestanding" and "Mounted" wall kits?
Freestanding Wall Kits stand securely on their own without the need for attachment to your existing walls, leaving no marks when removed. Anchor panels at each end provide stability.

Mounted Wall Kits are secured to your existing walls using the included mounting brackets and a few screws on each end. This option provides maximum stability, making it ideal for more permanent or secure installations.

I don't find my dimensions? Can you do custom orders?
Yes, we offer custom orders with width and depth options in 3-inch increments and height options in 1-foot increments, up to a maximum of 10 feet. Please fill out our Custom Quote Form, and we’ll provide a free custom quote within 24 hours.

The swing doors come with a standard lock and key. The accordion doors do not include locks, but many customers choose to add their own hasp locks for security.

Can I hang pictures or shelves on the walls?
Yes, the panels are stable enough to hang pictures, paintings, and even decorative shelves, making them great for gallery or display walls. You can drill into the panels for mounting screws or use wire loops around lugs at the top of the wall. However, we recommend avoiding heavy items or anything that projects too far from the wall, as this could create a weight imbalance.

Can I choose where the door is placed?
By default, doors are placed in the most economical position. If you have a preference, let us know, and we can check if it’s possible with your dimensions or arrange a custom order. Please note, doors need at least 1 foot of wall panel on each side.

How it Works

The Panels

Each panel consists of two rigid fibreglass composite panels, adhered to a unique interior frame system, forming a lightweight, yet structural wall panel

Panel Connectors

Interpanel Connectors allow you to attach panels at the top and bottom of each frame, making for an ultra-secure fit.

Vertical Stacking

Patented Lug Connectors make vertical stacking of panels easy, safe, and secure. Simply push connectors into place and attach panels vertically.

Door Kits

The accordion door includes a lintel, handle, and a snap channel to latch it closed. Swing doors are installed just like the modular wall panels using two-way connectors.

Finish the Look

Finishing Caps snap into receiver holes located on all sides of each panel, sealing off the hole and providing a sleek and finished look.

Mounting

We needed walls to divide a bedroom into 2 for the kids

Ok I think this would be the easiest for not handy people to divide a room semi permanently. I mean better than curtain or freestanding room dividers. I emailed Ron back and forth before making the final decision. He is helpful and understood what I wanted via my ugly draft. Delivery was a little difficult. Packed well and shipping company is decent. The problem is a local delivery company. The pallet was with the local delivery company for 2 weeks and they didn't contact until they were close to our house for delivery. Ok luckily I was home. Now I haven't assembled yet cuz I was busy and got a bad flu. Still trying to clean out kids' room even I barely recovered. I hope I will be done within this week and my kids would finally have their own little room before school starts. I will try to post update after. Thanks!

Really cool bedroom option

We have more bedrooms and kids and a large rec room in the basement. A contractor quoted us the cost of adding two bedrooms to the space. For about 10% of that cost we made two bedrooms using this product. It's been in place for about a month and so far so good. When trying to do something this big ... Two rooms...it was difficult to keep it stable as we built it. But once it all came together it was great. An advantage of having walls that go 8 ft high in a room with 9 ft ceilings is that we didn't need to do HVAC work.
